SYLLABUS IN ADVANCED STATISTICS IN RESEARCH

I. SUBJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Advanced Statistics is designed to develop understanding and skills in estimating parameters by the use of Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to determine various characteristics of data. Thinking and understanding are encouraged, with the need to formulate different strategies of counting systematically and efficiently. Visual and analytical models in learning are brought together to integrate problem solving uncertainty to problems involving statistical inference about the population based on data from samples using hypothesis testing.
The subject relates relationships of principles of two characteristics of population to make inferences about population characteristics based on analysis of variance.
